When in Paris, it’s always a must to make my way down to this, sprawling nineteenth-century former fabric factory. This laid back well curated concept store, sells a little of everything I didn’t know I needed, but can’t help but want. Peeking down the gorgeous pathway, I spot the little red vintage Fiat, and this is definitely the right place. Bienvenue à MERCI.
Everything my eye touches is the epitome of French style. A little Isabel Marant over there. Vintage Chanel jewelry nestled in hand painted black glass cases over here. Aesop products and Annick Goutal perfumes lining the shelves. French market bags, hand embroidered canvas pillow, linen sheets in the chicest colors and homewares. All pieces are carefully picked emphasizing attitude, restraint and laid-back luxury. Everything I need to populate my imaginary pre-war Paris apartment, with the soaring ceilings, gorgeous moldings and Juliette balcony is here.
Hold me back! Or just come join me.
mERCI.
