The Hoxton Paris.

A typical morning. I end up at the office – elevator, hallways, desk, then butt in chair. The mouse is moving around, emails are being answered, and then someone comes up behind me. In that moment, I’m snapped out of autopilot, pop out my AirPods, and then begins the day.
Today is not one of those days. I’m searching for my phone as my alarm is buzzing somewhere under the sheets. Sunlight filters through the curtains letting a bit of the world in. Jetlag isn’t allowing me to be my best self, but peeking through cracked eyelids I’m reminded – I’m waking up in Paris!
Cue song – Bill Withers – “It’s going to be a lovely day. “Bonne journée!”
First things first get all essentials ready for the long day:
1. Eat the orange juice and banana the Hoxton Hotel so nicely leaves for breakfast.
2. Stuff three just-in-case iPhone chargers into an unpractical, but I’m trying to be cute mini cross body purse.
3. Give thanks to Stan Smith for having cute but comfortable footwear.
4. Head downstairs and thank Juan at the bar for making thee best cappuccino.
Note to Self : This is a pretty good gig.
